Contest Terms and Conditions

Participation in the contest organized by König Albert Gaststättenbetriebsgesellschaft mbH, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions.

Contest Procedure

The contest runs from February 13, 2026, to February 20, 2026. Within this period, users will have the opportunity to enter the contest online.

Participation

To enter the contest, tag a person you would like to attend the menu evening with in the Facebook and Instagram post for the “Closed Menu Evening Kochsternstunden March 6, 2026 Contest.”

Participation is only possible within the entry period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw. Only one comment per participant will enter the contest. It is strictly forbidden to use multiple email addresses or multiple Facebook or Instagram profiles to increase the chances of winning. Entering the contest is free of charge.

Eligibility

Eligible participants are natural persons residing in Germany who are at least 18 years old. Participation is not limited to customers of the organizer and does not depend on the purchase of goods or services.

If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required.

Persons and employees of the operator involved in the design and implementation of the contest, as well as their family members, are not eligible to participate. Furthermore, the operator reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, such as

(a) manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the contest, (b) violations of these terms and conditions, (c) unfair conduct, or (d) false or misleading information in connection with participation in the contest.

Prize, Notification, and Prize Delivery

The following prizes will be awarded:

Participation for two people in the event “An Evening with ‘The Truffle Hunters'” on March 6, 2026, at Schmidt’s Restaurant.

Winners will be determined after the closing date via a random draw among all participants. If the contest is linked to a task, only those participants who completed the task correctly will be entered into the draw. Winners will be notified promptly via a separate message on Instagram or Facebook. The prize must be picked up exclusively at Schmidt’s, Moritzburger Weg 67, 01109 Dresden. The prize is offered for takeout only. Exchange or cash payment of the prize is not possible.

Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for any potential taxes on the prize. If the winner does not respond within 2 days after two requests, the prize may be transferred to another participant.

Termination of the Contest

The organizer expressly reserves the right to end the contest without prior notice and without stating reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the contest from running as planned.

Data Protection

Providing personal data is only necessary for participation if the organizer sends a prize notification in the form of a personal message. The participant ensures that the personal information provided, especially first name, last name, and email address, is truthful and correct.

The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will not be passed on to third parties or made available for their use without consent.

In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes announcing the winner on the operator’s website and social media platforms.

The participant can withdraw their consent at any time. The withdrawal must be sent in writing to the organizer’s contact details provided in the legal notice section of the contest app. After withdrawal of consent, the participant’s collected and stored personal data will be deleted immediately.

Applicable Law

Questions or complaints related to the contest should be directed to the operator. Contact options can be found in the legal notice section of the contest app.

The operator’s contest is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible regulation that comes closest to the economic meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these terms and conditions.
