When the grape harvest is underway in Radebeul and the forests are full of mushrooms, you notice it immediately in our kitchen. On our current menu, you will find pelmeni with mountain cheese, Federweißer foam, and melted Hellerau grapes, pretzel bread dumplings with sautéed wild mushrooms, or Arctic char from Langburkersdorf under a porcini crust. For game lovers, there are venison tortellone with black walnuts from Wahnsdorf.
As always: we buy fresh and in small quantities. When it’s gone, it’s gone. If you want to taste autumn in all its variety, the best choice is “Schmidt’s Menu Inside Out” in five or eight courses.
